Hospital
A hospital is a place where sick people gather for treatment. It gives medical treatment to them free of cost. A hospital is run either by public or by the government. A big hospital has a large staff of qualified doctors and trained nurses while a small one has a small establishment. A village charitable dispensary which is also a kind of hospital has only one doctor and one compounder. Each hospital has two sections – the outdoor and the indoor. Generally, a greater number of sick people are treated in the outdoor section. People attacked with serious illness are admitted in the indoor section. They are kept there under treatment till they are considered fit to leave it. A hospital is also an excellent training ground for young doctors and medical students.
