A Village Doctor
In a village of Bangladesh, a village doctor is a man of importance. He does not receive any medical degree from a medical college. He only undergoes a few years of training under a medical practitioner. Then he starts his independent practice. He has his dispensary either in his village home or in a village market. He has no adequate furniture in his dispensary. He sits on an old chair with an old table before him. He has one or two almirahs in his dispensary. He has not a large stock of medicines. Only the cheap and common medicines are available in his dispensary. He has no ample knowledge of prescribing medicines. But the villagers depend on him for their medical aid.
