A Street Quarrel
At times we find people quarrelling on the streets. These may be called street quarrels. A street quarrel usually occurs at a street corner or at the front of a shop. It takes place between a driver and his passenger, or a shopkeeper and his customer or between two passers-by. It originates from a controversy over a fare, or a bargain or damage caused to property. The controversy leads to accusation, exchange of abusive words, dealing blows and use of fists, kicks, sticks, and brickbats. Passengers gather and form a crowd. Some of them try to pacify the quarrelling parties. Meanwhile, the police come and disperse the crowd.
