The Bear
Bears are known for their ferocity. However, they are mild temped animals. They become violent only when their food supplies or their young are threatened. Bears are found in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Generally, their height ranges from 3 to 10 feet. Bears eat meat and fish. They also eat large quantities of vegetable matter, especially roots, seeds, nuts and barries. Bears even feed on the carcasses of dead animals if they find them.
