Online Education During Lockdown
For the first time ever, schools in Bangladesh have moved to online classrooms. It's a struggle for both the students as well as the teachers. Self-Curfew to push back the threat. Caused by the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) outbreak. While many seem to have felt the severity of the problem in March our younger citizens, our school students and children and their parents and guardians had felt the impact of shutting down schools and educational institutions. As schools and colleges are shut across Bangladesh, every house is a school and every parent is a teacher. Online classes via skype, zoom etc are really helpful for everyone in the society especially children as they are benefited with same purpose and learning. This is helping the teachers too as they get to communicate with their students and share knowledge. There are quite a few advantages of online classes that are worth consideration. Adjusting learning into the existing schedule is one of the best advantages. Students of online classes are often given the freedom to complete lessons any time before a set deadline. Students need to learn digital skills for their own sake and improving quality of education has to be accompanied by changes in curriculum, textbooks, teachers training, examination systems last but not the least, quality of traditional education has been to improve too.
