Idleness/Laziness
Idleness means the state of being lazy. It is a great vice. It is very harmful for us. It is a bar to our life and prosperity. There are persons who do not work at all. They pass time in idleness. They are afraid of work. They waste both their time and energy. They can not prosper in life. They are burden to the society. They live in poverty and depend on others. The students who are idle cannot make well in the exams. They cannot complete their courses in time. Thus, idleness is very detrimental. An idle man is the source of evil thoughts. An idle brain is a devil’s workshop. No pragmatic thinking springs from an idle brain. Thus, idleness must be shunned from our life. If we want to be prosperous, we must be active shaking off our idle sentiments.
