Main idea : Child is the epitome of a nation's hopes and aspirations. A child is the potential source of future guidelines and leadership.
Amplification : A child of today is the leader of tomorrow. A child is the future for both family and country. He is the source of our future hopes and aspirations. He is the replica of his father. A child will lead the country and the nation when he will grow up. He will take the responsibility of his people and nation. Man is born with some natural intuition and capacity. These instincts and aptitudes reveal themselves in childhood, and are gradually developed with the growth of years. We should cultivate these notions within the mindset of the children. They should be grown in such a manner that they can understand their duties and responsibilities. Thus, we have to nurture the children in a congenial atmosphere. We must educate them. We have to develop their dormant potentialities. We must take care so that our children can form their characters in smooth and solid grounds. We should nurture the inborn aptitude of the children. In fact, if a child is grown in a proper way, he will be able to lead the country in future in a proper way.
বঙ্গানুবাদ
মূলভাব : শিশু একটি জাতির আশা ও আকাঙ্ক্ষার প্রতীক। একটি শিশু ভবিষ্যৎ নির্দেশাবলি ও নেতৃত্বের সম্ভাব্য উৎস।
ভাবসম্প্রসারণ : আজকের একটি শিশু আগামীকালের নেতা। একটি শিশু পরিবার ও দেশের উভয়ের জন্য ভবিষ্যৎ। সে আমাদের ভবিষ্যৎ আশা ও আকাঙ্কার উৎস। সে তার পিতার অবিকল প্রতিরূপ। একটি শিশু যখন সাবালক হবে, তখন সে দেশ ও জাতির নেতৃত্ব দিবে। সে তার জনগণের ও জাতির দায়িত্বভার কাঁধে নিবে। মানুষ কিছু স্বাভাবিক স্বজ্ঞা ও ধীশক্তি নিয়ে জন্মগ্রহণ করে। এসব সহজাত প্রবৃত্তি ও ঝোঁক শৈশবে নিজেদেরকে প্রকাশ করে এবং ক্রমান্বয়ে বয়োবৃদ্ধিতে বিকশিত হয়। এই ধারণাগুলো আমাদের শিশুদের মানসিকতার মধ্যে অনুশীলন করা উচিত। তাদের এভাবে বেড়ে উঠা উচিত যাতে তারা তাদের দায়িত্ব ও কর্তব্য বুঝতে পারে। এভাবে আমাদের শিশুদেরকে একটি উপযুক্ত পরিবেশে পোষণ করতে হবে। আমরা অবশ্যই তাদের শিক্ষা দিব। আমাদেরকে তাদের সুপ্ত সম্ভাবনাকে বিকশিত করতে হবে। আমরা অবশ্যই খেয়াল রাখবো যাতে আমাদের শিশুরা মসৃণ ও কঠিন ক্ষেত্রে তাদের চরিত্র গঠন করতে পারে। আমাদের শিশুদের স্বাভাবিক ঝোঁককে পোষণ করা উচিত। বস্তুত যদি একটি শিশু উপযুক্তভাবে বেড়ে উঠে, তাহলে সে দেশকে ভবিষ্যতে উপযুক্তভাবে নেতৃত্ব দিতে সমর্থ হবে।
