Main idea : Mother has great influence on the future of a child. Mother trains the little one who will rule the world in future.
Amplification : Children usually grow up in care and protection of mother. They depend on their mother for their well-being. The child learns many things from its mother. The mother's influence on children during the formative years plays a vital role in shaping them into an adult. A cradle is a small box- like bed where a mother keeps her baby and moves it to and fro until it sleeps. The training that a person receives then takes firm root in him and decides his future. Mothers play a vital role in children's life. If the mother is good, the child also will grow up a good man. But if the mother is wicked, he is most likely to grow up wicked too. Napoleon Bonaparte said, "Give me an educated mother; I will give you an educated nation." Napoleon's mother taught him discipline to face the reality of life. The mother of Iswarchandra was a living instance of simplicity and kindness and it was this that made the son also so great in these qualities. Thus, mothers exert a great role upon the mind-set of the children. The child that is growing on mother's lap will become great and rule the country.

মূলভাব : একটি শিশুর ভবিষ্যতে মায়ের বড়ো ভূমিকা আছে। মা ছোটো একটি শিশুকে সুশিক্ষা দিয়ে গড়ে তুলবেন যে ভবিষ্যত পৃথিবীকে শাসন করবে।
ভাবসম্প্রসারণ : শিশুরা সচরাচর মায়ের যত্ন ও আশ্রয়ে বেড়ে ওঠে। তাদের কল্যাণের জন্য তারা তাদের মায়ের ওপর নির্ভরশীল। শিশুটি তার মায়ের কাছ থেকে অনেক কিছু শিখে। গঠনাত্মক বছরগুলো ব্যাপী শিশুদের ওপর মায়ের প্রভাব তাদের প্রাপ্তবয়স্কে গড়ে তুলতে অপরিহার্য ভূমিকা পালন করে। দোলনা হলো একটি বিছানাসদৃশ ছোটো বাক্স যেখানে মা তার শিশুটিকে রেখে ঘুম না আসা পর্যন্ত এটিকে এদিক-ওদিক দোলান। একজন ব্যক্তি যে প্রশিক্ষণ গ্রহণ করে এবং অতঃপর তার মধ্যে বন্ধমূল হয় এবং তার ভবিষ্যৎ সম্বদ্ধে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করে। মায়েরা শিশুদের জীবনে অপরিহার্য ভূমিকা পালন করেন। যদি মা ভালো হন, তাহলে শিশুটিও একজন ভালো মানুষ হিসেবে বেড়ে উঠবে। কিন্তু যদি মা দুষ্টু হন, তাহলে সেও খুব সম্ভবত দুষ্টু হিসেবে বেড়ে উঠবে। নেপোলিয়ন বোনাপার্ট বলেন, “আমাকে একজন শিক্ষিত মা দাও, আমি তোমাদেরকে একটি শিক্ষিত জাতি দিব।" নেপোলিয়নের মা জীবনের বাস্তবতাকে মোকাবিলা করতে তাকে নিয়মানুবর্তিতা শিখিয়েছিলেন। ঈশ্বর চন্দ্র বিদ্যাসাগরের মা ছিলেন সরলতা ও দয়ার জীবন্ত উদাহরণ এবং এটিই তার পুত্রকেও এসব গুণাবলিতে এতো মহান করেছিল। এভাবে মায়েরা শিশুদের মনের ওপর একটি বড়ো ভূমিকা পালন করেন। যে শিশুটি মায়ের কোলে বড়ো হচ্ছে, সে মহান হবে এবং দেশকে শাসন করবে।
